Our Team Michael Forrester, President & Director of Photography
Michael has been working professionally in video production as both a cameraman and producer since 1990. Beginning in the corporate environment, he created productions for Amtrak before setting out on his own in 1995.
Since that time, his client base has expanded far beyond the Southeast and his work includes field production in nearly every environment imaginable. Michael has earned a reputation for his camera work covering severe weather including hurricanes and tornadoes. He also works in less hazardous environments creating equally memorable images on tape.
Professional development and utilization of the latest technology is an ongoing venture. In 2003, Michael attended the renowned International Film and Television Workshops where he trained on the Sony and Panasonic high definition camera systems and began offering HD production to his clients.
Michael became an early adopter of the HDV format and was asked to write the shooting specifications for the HDV format for National Geographic. Michael has shot extensively on all the Sony HD cameras including the F-900, the F-350 and the Z1.
Bob Tingle, Production Manager
Bob brings over 30 years of experience in broadcasting, film and digital media to every production he manages for Forrester Media and its clients. Bob brings people and resources together in such away as to make everybody’s job easier and free creative people to do the best work possible.
Having logged hundreds of hours at every crew position imaginable in every type of production from live broadcast to documentary, Bob is uniquely qualified to help guide our clients through the production process.
Simon Temperton, Senior Producer
Simon brings nearly 20 years of producing experience - the last sixteen as a Special Projects Producer for The Weather Channel - to Forrester Media. His time at The Weather Channel included field producing for Meteorologist Jim Cantore and covering numerous hurricanes including Hurricane Katrina in Gulfport, MS.
Simon wrote and produced many of The Weather Channel's productions during his tenure there and is now responsible for producing projects for our clients as well as our original productions.
Keith Krystofiak, Videographer
Keith joined the Forrester Media team after graduating from the Art Institute of Atlanta with a degree in electronic media production. Keith's interest in camera work brought him to Forrester Media with the recommendation of one of the Institute's key faculty members.
Keith interned with us and gained valuable experience while working with Michael Forrester during the Hurricane Katrina aftermath and during Hurricane Wilma. Keith's good eye and steady handheld work has been seen on numerous productions since coming aboard.
Elizabeth Markley, Assistant Editor
Elizabeth graduated with a bachelor’s degree in electronic media production from
Ashland
University
in Ohio. While there she learned many aspects of video production and had the opportunity to do an internship at PCTV21 in
Pittsburgh
.
Editing soon became her primary focus and worked editing many projects ranging from student produced television shows and news for the campus station to a 30-minute documentary.
Elizabeth's professors
voted her
best editor her senior year. In college she worked on Avid editing systems and is now very excited to be learning Final Cut Pro while working at Forrester Media.
When asked why she chose editing, Elizabeth replied 'I love being able to take raw video and create a visually enticing story that really draws people in when they watch it.'
Brian Gonda, Videographer
Brian brings over 17 years of
broadcast television experience to
Forrester Media.
He began working in
Public
Television producing,
shooting
and editing documentaries then moved on to
news coverage. While working for the CBS and NBC affiliates in
Albuquerque,
NM,
Brian covered a wide range of major news events such as the Oklahoma City Bombing and the Winter Olympics in
Salt Lake City.
Brian is also an accomplished Wescam operator. From 2000-2004 Brian was the Chief Photographer at KOB-TV, before moving to
Atlanta,
GA.
Brian’s experience on live productions as well as his ability to work on his own or with a large crew make him a valuable asset on any production.
Tim Avirett, Videographer
Tim began his career in the visual arts as a still photographer and made the transition to video production in 1987. Tim began his diverse career in videography specializing in legal video and live events.
As his career progressed he worked into the corporate and broadcast environments. In 1995 he began a five year association with WPBA Channel 30 working in the studio as a cameraman and later as floor director. At the same time he continued to develop his skills in field production.
Tim has worked extensively on single camera EFP/ENG productions as well as multi-camera field productions. He began his association with Forrester Media in 1998 and has become an integral part of the production team.
Jeanine Forrester, Graphic Designer Jeanine specializes in creating logos, print and other collateral material. She holds a Masters Degree in International Business, as well as a BA in Graphic Design. While she has worked for companies including Home Depot, NBC and Turner Broadcasting, she equally enjoys working with smaller companies that need the level of expertise she provides.
Contractors Forrester Media utilizes the skills of contract videographers, audio technicians, producers, production assistants and other crafts that might be required on a production. By using skilled contractors, we can hire the best qualified individual for each job.
